_Who We Are

Engineering Tomorrow’s Power Systems at the Speed of Today’s Requirements—For Over 70 Years

Acme Aerospace continues to partner with visionary aerospace teams pursuing the extraordinary. We’re advancing lithium-ion technologies, modular power supplies, and integrated energy solutions that are as ambitious as the missions they enable.

Our vertically integrated manufacturing allows us to deliver the agility and innovation of a specialized engineering team and the stability of a proven aerospace enterprise.

_How We Work

One Team Under One Roof

Our core engineering, manufacturing, testing, and repair capabilities come together at our Tempe, Arizona, headquarters, from cell and battery assembly through design, production, testing, and lifecycle support.

  • Built for Speed

By working side by side, our engineers can design, build, and test rapidly, then apply what they learn directly to the next iteration. This integrated approach accelerates development without compromising certification, quality, or testing rigor.

    • In-house machine shop, environmental testing, and manufacturing
    • Fast build-test-iterate loops during prototyping and design validation
    • Full certification and testing rigor maintained at every step
  • A Team Without Silos

Mechanical, electrical, chemical, and battery engineers work alongside production, quality control, supply chain, and sales. When a project calls for it, we draw on specialized expertise like welding and circuit design through our sister company, Avionic Instruments, a natural synergy built on shared aerospace roots. It’s a culture that questions “the way it’s always been done,” backed by deep institutional knowledge.

Some of our backup systems sit dormant for a long time, but must work instantly and without fail when needed. Our sealed Fiber Nickel-Cadmium batteries are designed to offer reliable standby power when called on, without needing electrolyte top-ups or routine maintenance.

Our involvement extends beyond delivery. We hold reliability data on every component, and any change we make gets checked against it before it’s approved. We keep supporting products for decades after they leave our floor, and when a component becomes obsolete, we requalify a new one rather than leaving customers stranded.

We don’t just build power systems—we build partnerships that last decades, built on a commitment to reliability and precision that every aerospace mission demands.
